Lanzarote is definitely an incomparable paradise for surfers
This magnificent island guarantees pleasant temperatures throughout the year, allowing visitors to enjoy the beaches and their splendid and powerful waves, which are formed along a coast of singular beauty carved out of volcanic lava.
You’ll find different surf spots on sandy beaches or on beaches of volcanic lava, all of them with waves of high quality. Proof of this is found in the qualifying events for the world championship that have been held on the island – in recent years, we have welcomed the Quemao Class, a championship only suitable for the most courageous professionals, that takes place on one of the best waves in the world: the Quemao, in the village of La Santa.
Lanzarote has an area of 60 km long and 35 km wide. It is very easy to go from one side to another and weather here is an added bonus. Average temperatures range from 25ºC in winter to 31ºC in summer with water temperatures ranging from 18 °C to 25 °C, an absolute pleasure!
