We are happy to share the below sport events scheduled for February in Lanzarote:
Professionals and amateurs will challenge themselves by pedalling through asphalt races, sand, lava fields and dirt tracks in the north of the island for 4 days. This event it included in the UCI calendar.
The Timanfaya Triathlon is the prominent sports event in Lanzarote: the combination of effort and satisfaction, sports and personal improvement, fun and excitement come together in a show where professionals, amateurs and disabled athletes will make Lanzarote vibrate .
17-18.02.2018 – VII Eighth Island Challenge.
The participants have the opportunity to compete surrounded by endemism and species richness, dunes and beaches of golden sand and finding streets of jable at the finishing line. To be the winner of the Eighth Island Challenge, the participants will have to compete in two modalities for two days, Triathlon-Cross and Trail.
28.02-04.03.2018 – 9º RC44 Calero Marinas Cup.
Calero Marinas has been a regular winter destination for the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup. This championship will be the first event of the 2018 season and will have 10 teams. The RC44 is known as the “Formula 1 of the sailing” and many of the world’s elite sailors will take part in it.
