The eighth edition of Famara Total 2023 will take place from 24 to 26 August. This is one of the most outstanding mountain races on the island, and offers runners the option of four different distances: 7.5 km, 15 km, 25 km and 50 km.
The experience will certainly delight mountain race fans in the Canary Islands once again this summer. Haría Titan is a mountain race with a programme of three parallel races, offering different routes and distances. The event allow you to discover a landscape of extraordinary natural beauty, as its high-elevation route offers spectacular views of valleys, oases of palm trees, peaks and ridges in the mountains in the north of Lanzarote, bordering the impressive massifs of Famara and Guatifay, as well as the Natural Monument of La Corona.

Lanzarote International Running Challenge
If you are a fan of stage races, the Lanzarote International Running Challenge is a perfect event for you. Club La Santa is once again behind the organisation of this race, which has 33 years of history and is a landmark event for runners of all ages.
The event will take place over four consecutive days, from Sunday 26 to Wednesday 29 November, and participants will face four running races on different surfaces, one each day. The first day brings the Vince Regan Memorial Classic Road Run (10k), with a three-lap road run around Laguna de La Santa. The second event is the Ridge Run (13k), a trail run on one of the volcanoes near Club La Santa. The third day of competition is the Beach Race, a 5k run along the golden sands of Playa los Pocillos in Puerto del Carmen. On the last day, runners will tackle the “Vuelta desde Tinajo” (21k), a route that will take them around most of the spectacular Montaña de Tinache mountain. There will be prizes and trophies for top finishers.
As a prelude to this great event, La Santa Night Run and the Kids Challenge will be held on Saturday 25 November. This is a great sporting experience to share with family and friends, where everyone can enjoy the great spectacle of light, colour and music put on by Club La Santa.

Font Vella Lanzarote International Marathon
Font Vella Lanzarote International Marathon closes the international race calendar. Runners looking for a sporting challenge in pleasant weather conditions towards the end of the year should head for Lanzarote, where this marathon will take place on 2 December. The race starts in Costa Teguise, and then runs along the coast through Arrecife, San Bartolomé and Puerto del Carmen, offering a scenic panorama along the east coast of the island, where runners can enjoy the golden sands of the beaches and Lanzarote’s natural coastal habitats full of marine life.
