Lanzarote once again captivated the participants in the Tagoror Games, a crossfit competition that fuses effort, skill and speed, taking advantage of the excellent weather conditions of the Island to offer a unique experience in this discipline. Puerto del Carmen became the epicenter of an event that continues to rise in its third edition. For three days, more than 250 athletes gathered in Lanzarote to participate in this competition.
The resounding success of the third edition of Tagoror Games was evidenced by the massive participation of athletes and the public, gathering around 5,000 people over the weekend. More than 80% of the competitors came from outside the island to test their skills in one of the most prominent events in the sports calendar on the island of volcanoes.
With categories for the elite, as well as for Master +35, Intermediate and Scale athletes, the competition was intense in each round. The support of a dedicated audience that filled the stands and vibrated after the completion of each exercise, accompanying the participants in their efforts, was very notable. Furthermore, in this edition, the athletes competed in 5 different locations, a novelty that was very well received by both competitors and fans.
The director of the event, Alejandro Fernández, expressed his gratitude to the athletes for their trust, but especially to the more than 100 people who contributed to making this event a reality. Fernández stated: “Tagoror Games is here to stay. We have experienced a weekend full of emotions, where each Wod represented an incredible challenge for each competitor. Without a doubt, we have exceeded our expectations. We feel extremely satisfied and grateful for what Tagoror Games has meant this weekend.”
