Lanzarote is definitely an incomparable paradise for surfers. This magnificent island has a pleasant temperature all year round, beautiful and splendid beaches and powerful waves along a coastline of volcanic lava of unique beauty.
You’ll find spots with beach breaks, reefs, slabs and high quality waves. Every year we held races which score in the world championship, but here there is surf at all levels, from beginner to expert.
Lanzarote has an area of 60 km long and 35 km wide. It is very easy to go from one side to another and weather here is an added bonus. Average temperatures range from 25ºC in winter to 31ºC in summer with water temperatures ranging from 18 °C to 25 °C, an absolute pleasure.
Due to its geographical location, Lanzarote receives waves from different directions: north, northwest, west and northeast, with long amplitudes during the winter and wind waves during the summer. On the west coast, waves are larger and, on the east, waves are slightly smaller, but there is always a good place to surf.
The stunning Famara Beach, the rapid shorebreak in Arrieta, the perfection of the wave in La Santa and other spots make this 300 volcano-island, a paradise for intrepid surfers to be discovered.
